Auction Benefit

Tune in and turn up for good music, good friends and good vibes at the Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton 39th Annual Auction Dinner, Rock Your Heart Out.
This year, we are planning an eclectic festival of community – a twilight celebration uniting people who love music, art, food, and the unique rhythms of our Sacred Heart community. Always the feature act for this event, we plan to premiere a platinum array of items and adventures in our silent, super-silent, and live auctions.
We are looking to “get the band back together” and call on all our past back-up musicians, background vocalists, and stage crews to help us get this show on the road.   So, now’s your chance to turn the volume up to 11, and commit to being an instrumental part of our group! 
ATTEND: Join the crowd! Gather your posse, purchase your tickets, and get ready to Rock Your Heart Out in the SHS Practice Pavilion on Saturday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m. — sharp!  Invitations will be mailed in February.
VOLUNTEER:We need roadies! Have a few extra hours to stuff envelopes, decorate tables, and pass out the backstage passes at check-in? No matter the job, it is sure to mean new friends, new memories, and loads of fun.
DONATE:  What makes a music festival worth raving about?  Having an amazing lineup of auction items that offers something for everyone. To make this auction a real hit, we need items—from activities to experiences, and everything in-between. Want to team up in concert with others to compose a "pay-to-play" activity or one-of-a-kind event? Willing to share your VIP concert tickets, your culinary expertise, or a stay at your vacation home? Then, please let us know by February 9 for inclusion in our auction catalog.
UNDERWRITE: Seeking executive producers! Each year, we are able to defray auction expenses thanks to generous gifts of financial support. We appreciate any and all monetary contributions toward the production of our event. We will gratefully acknowledge all supporters in our auction catalog.
We are grateful for your support of our Sacred Heart community, and for helping us orchestrate this opus. We look forward to seeing you live and ready to Rock Your Heart Out on March 24!

  • What is the SHS Annual Auction Dinner Party?

    A school tradition since 1980 – The annual auction dinner party is our only all school, preschool through 12th grade, fund raising event.
  • When and where is this year's auction?

  • Why is the SHS Annual Auction Dinner Party important?

    100% of the net proceeds from the auction support the education we are so proud to offer our students. The auction is a great community-building event. There are many volunteer opportunities and parents have fun working together to achieve a common goal.
  • How can I get involved?

    The auction committee needs and appreciates all kinds of help from the SHS community. No matter how much or how little help you can give, all is appreciated! Here are some of the ways you help:

    • Volunteer! Contact one of the auction chair’s or the Director of Engagement to find out how you can help.
    • Donate an item or service to be auctioned.
    • Ask friends, family members, or businesses to make donations.
    • Underwrite by making a cash contribution to help with expenses.
    • Become an auction patron.
    • Come to the auction and have a great time! 
  • How can I donate an item?

    It's simple. Just complete a donation submission form (with a description and dollar value of your good or service) Next, bring in your item or arrange with the auction committee to have it picked up or delivered closer to the auction. Be sure to provide brochures or pictures for the display of your item if available!

    Our catalog print deadline is Friday, February 9!
  • What and when is the online auction?

    All SHS families have access to our online auction website to sign up for "Pay to Play" parties and to view our entire auction catalog.

    The online auction will be open Sunday, March 11th @ 9:00am through Sunday, March 18 @ 11:59 p.m.

    Only "pay to play" sign up items will be available online.
  • How do I RSVP to attend the Auction?

    Invitations to the Auction will be mailed to all current parents in mid February with an RSVP link on this page. Your reservation includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and entertainment. 

  • Who can I sit with?

    Guests are welcome to organize a table (up to parties of 12) and request each other when submitting your RSVP. But - thats not the only way!  We have a dedicated group of volunteers who will make sure you are at a great table with other parents in your child's grade.
  • What should I wear?

    Coachella Casual: Sundress or jeans. Heels or flip flops. Dress shirt or t-shirt. Wear what you’re comfortable in! Check out our lookbook  for some fun ideas!
  • Is our donation tax-deductible?

    Yes, as the law allows. You will receive a note acknowledging your donation. Please refer to your tax advisor for details.
