A community of students, educators, and thinkers with a common goal; exploring new concepts in STEM and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Started in 2007, the Sacred Heart Robotics team has grown rapidly over the years, and now includes over 100+ students from 4th-12th grade.
Students compete in numerous Robotics Competition programs, which introduce students to real-world engineering skills within the framework of different "games" released every year.
Above all, we seek to teach our students the skills and competencies they will need in the real world, while also building a positive community that encourages students to pursue what they are passionate about.
In both LMS & SHP Robotics, students are exposed to a variety of tools and techniques, including but not limited to 3D-printing, laser-cutting, welding, and computer-assisted design. Students also tackle complicated engineering challenges using real-world problem-solving frameworks with peers from all grade levels.
