APPLY ONLINE THROUGH RAVENNA

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton! Our application for the 2027-28 academic year opens in early September 2026. To learn more about the process, please review the step-by-step instructions by grade level in the fall (note: updates to last year's instructions are currently in progress).

Note: The application process begins by creating a Ravenna account profile. You can view and track deadlines for every required piece of the Sacred Heart application through a convenient checklist on the Ravenna portal. Please note the deadlines listed within each step as they do vary between grade levels. A successful application will have every item checked off as “complete” once processed by our Admission Team.

September – December

Explore Sacred Heart Schools virtually to learn what makes our community, “the second happiest place on earth!"

Browse the admission site to learn more about our Mission & the Montessori Preschool Program.
Sign up for our SHS Admission Newsletter to stay up to date on the latest information about offerings this year.
Login to Ravenna to register for optional virtual sessions.

STEP 2

Begin the Application Process

Attend an optional event September-December
This season, SHS Admission is hosting optional Virtual Info Sessions and on-campus Preschool Parent Tours to help prospective applicant parents learn more about the unique qualities of a Sacred Heart experience. Registration is available in Ravenna.

Complete the application steps by January 5, 2027

The following steps/forms must be completed, submitted or scheduled through Ravenna by the January 5th deadline to confirm your application to Sacred Heart Schools.

Preliminary Application Form + fee*
Parent/Guardian Written Statement
Parent/Guardian Video Questionnaire
Preschool Assessment Video
Teacher Evaluations (Note: This requirement is waived for children who have yet to attend school. SHS will not accept additional letters of recommendation into a student’s application file).
Student Classroom Visit - Jan/Feb TBD if needed.

Age Requirement: A child must meet the following SHS age requirement by May 31st, 2027 in order to be an applicant. Note: This requirement is firm.

- Preschool Year 1: 3yrs old
- Preschool Year 2: 4yrs old

*Please note: if the application fee presents a financial hardship, please contact admission@shschools.org to request a waiver.

STEP 3

(Optional) Apply for Tuition Assistance

By January 5, 2027

We welcome all families who are interested in tuition assistance to submit a Clarity application. To learn more about the process, visit Tuition & Affordability.
