APPLY ONLINE THROUGH RAVENNA

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton! Our application for the 2024-25 academic year opens on September 1, 2023. To learn more about the process, please review the step-by-step instructions by grade level, below.

Note: The application process begins by creating a Ravenna account profile. You can view and track deadlines for every required piece of the Sacred Heart application through a convenient checklist on the Ravenna portal. Please note the deadlines listed within each step as they do vary between grade levels. A successful application will have every item checked off as “complete” once processed by our Admission Team.

Explore Sacred Heart Schools virtually to learn what makes our community, “the second happiest place on earth!"

Browse the admission site to learn more about our Mission & the Lower School Program.
Sign up for our SHS Admission Newsletter to stay up to date on the latest information about offerings this year.
Login to Ravenna to register for an optional virtual Mission & Philosophy Info Session.

STEP 2

Begin the Application Process

A child must meet the age requirement below by May 31st, 2024 in order to be an applicant to the corresponding program/grade level.

Kindergarten = 5 years old
1st = 6 years old
2nd = 7 years old
3rd = 8 years old
4th = 9 years old
5th = 10 years old

By January 9, 2024

The following steps/forms must be submitted through Ravenna by the January 9th deadline to confirm your interest in applying to Sacred Heart Schools.

Student Classroom Visit
One Teacher recommendation - if student is in a current program

1st - 5th Grade

- 1st Grade application require 1 teacher recommendation
- 2nd - 5th application require 2 teacher recommendations
- SHS will not accept additional letters of recommendation into a student’s application file aside from teacher recommendations.
Current and last years prior academic years of report cards/transcripts
Current year’s first term report card/transcript

*Please note: if the application fee presents a financial hardship, please contact admission@shschools.org to request a waiver.

STEP 3

(Optional) Apply for Tuition Assistance

By February 1, 2024
