Led by a dedicated studio arts teacher, students explore various mediums and techniques in two and three dimensions, including printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, drawing, painting, and textiles. They also study historical and contemporary artists, engaging in ongoing discussions about their own work and the work of others. In grade 8, students have the option to delve deeper into mural painting, emphasizing large-scale technique and storytelling. The program nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and visual communication skills, instilling a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
