SHS global initiative opportunities are purposefully designed to advance peace, social justice, and worldwide solidarity.
The development of a strong global perspective, cross-cultural understanding, and caring, human relationships is at the heart of St. Madeleine Sophie’s vision for the Society of the Sacred Heart and for the Sacred Heart Schools that have been established in more than 30 countries around the world. At SHS, this concept comes to life in the classroom, through enrichment programs and community service, and in the relationships built within the international network of Sacred Heart Schools. Global initiatives at Sacred Heart span both the academic and experiential, and are deeply rooted in the spirit of the Goals and Criteria.
Complementing the educational experience, opportunities for domestic and international student exchange both foster community among the greater network of Sacred Heart Schools and promote self-confidence, self-reliance, and personal growth. Learn More
