Over the summer break, 13 Sacred Heart Prep students will travel abroad as part of the SHP Exchange Program. The program allows students to travel internationally within the worldwide network of Sacred Heart Schools.
The rising ninth through 12th graders who are on exchange have the unique opportunity to receive a Sacred Heart education from a different perspective, while discovering the local customs and traditions, and strengthening their foreign language skills.
The program spans three to four weeks and the Summer 2016 group will be traveling to France, Japan, Spain or Taiwan. During their time abroad, each student will be blogging about their experiences.
The reciprocal program will see many Prep students reuniting with their exchange brothers or sisters, after hosting them during the 2015-16 school year. This is also the first year SHP students will go on exchange to Japan and it is the 14th country students have visited over the last three years.
