Cluss Breaks School Record In Mile At BU Valentine Invitational

SHP grad Max Cluss broke the Middlebury record in the mile on Saturday.
Several members of the men's indoor track and field team competed at the Boston University Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday. The Panthers are idle until February 25 and 26 when they host the Division III New England Championships.
Max Cluss broke the school record in the mile, clocking in at 4:07.18 to place 64th in a field of 148 racers. The previous time of 4:09.89 was set by Wilder Schaaf in 2015.
In the 60-meter dash, Aaron Tobias placed 14th out of 68 sprinters, crossing the finish line in 7.21 seconds. Marco Motroni was 23rd in the event with a time of 7.27 seconds.
Colin Breen finished the 400 with a personal best time of 50.77.
