Menlo School, Sacred Heart Prep and Castilleja each earned the top GPA in a fall sport and combined for 12 scholastic honors overall as the Central Coast Section announced the fall season Scholastic Championship Team Awards on Monday.
Castilleja, an all-girls school, was named in five different sports, including first in water polo, second in golf and fifth in cross country, tennis and volleyball.
Sacred Heart Prep earned first-place honors in girls tennis, second in football and fifth in both boys cross country and girls water polo.
Menlo School was tops in football, second in boys cross country and third in girls golf.
Of the 48 team awards, 29 went to a private school and 19, including three first-place honors, went to as public school.
The Mills boys water polo team had a team GPA of 3.9760, Harker's boys cross country team's GPA was 3.9430, Valley Christian's girls golf was 3.9149 and Menlo's boys cross country team was 3.9117 as the top four overall GPAs.
