The Gators (4-0 in the PAL Bay Division, 11-4 overall) can clinch the top seed in the upcoming PAL tournament with a victory at home against the Bears and at least tie for the regular-season title.
Sacred Heart Prep, which split a pair of games in the Miramonte doubleheader Saturday, has already clinched at least a tie for the West Catholic Athletic League regular-season title and can win it outright on Wednesday (6:45 p.m.) with a victory over visiting Presentation.
The Gators have already defeated Mitty and St. Francis, the teams tied for second.
SH Prep (5-0 in the WCAL, 11-6 overall) beat San Ramon Valley, 10-3, and then dropped a 10-3 decision to Campolindo.
Jane Rakow netted 13 saves, Nadia Paquin led the Gators in scoring with five goal and Layla Waters added three goals. Maddie Pendolino scored a goal in each contest.
Madison Lewis scored four times and Minhee Chung added a pair against the Rams. Chung added three goals in the win over the Eagles and Claire Pisani scored twice.
Junior goalie Georgia Lewis recorded 22 saves on the day, 12 against Los Altos.
Castilleja hosts the Bears at 4 p.m.
The Sacred Heart boys water polo team also has an important match Wednesday. The Gators (5-0 WCAL, 11-3 overall) travel to Bellarmine for a 6 p.m. meeting between the league's last remaining unbeaten teams.
SH Prep won twice Saturday at a tournament in Irvine, beating host Irvine, 21-9, and then coming back to edge Newport Harbor, 11-9.
