SH Prep tops Cougars in PAL football to remain unbeaten

The Gators remained unbeaten on the season, opening a 27-0 halftime lead over the host Cougars.
Sacred Heart Prep (7-0, 2-0) hosts Menlo-Atherton a week from Saturday at 2 p.m. in a game that will go a long way in deciding the PAL Bay Division champions.
Tevita Moimoi opened the scoring with a 55-yard romp on the Gators' second offensive possession. Sacred Heart Prep got the back back and scored again when Price III went 44 yards for a score.
A William Peterson interception set up Price's 9-yard scoring toss to Jack Kirkham that extended the Gators lead to 27-0.
John Willard punched it in from two yards out and then ran for the two-point conversion to finish the Gators scoring.
The Sacred Heart Prep defense is allowing 9.0 points a game this season, which makes next week's matchup all the more intriguing. M-A allows 12.1 points a game.
