SHP improves to 3-0 in boys soccer after a 5-1 win over Mountain View.
Alexi Stavropoulos scored a goal and assisted on two others as the Sacred Heart boys' soccer team won its third straight to open the season, beating visiting Mountain View, 5-1, in a nonleague contest Thursday.
Liam Johnson, Max Sloat, Kevin Box and Victor Micha also scored for the Gators (3-0), who were playing their home opener. Chase Dolinko and Kyle Nilsson added assists.
Sacred Heart Prep is in the middle of playing four of its first five matches on the road. The Gators visit Palma for a 1 p.m. game Saturday in Salinas. They play at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Tuesday.
