Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, and Boys Basketball all victorious over the weekend

The boys and girls soccer teams improved to 2-0 on the young season, while the boys basketball team picked up their 1st win with a 50-33 victory over Mills. 

Girls Soccer
Julianna Rosen scored in the final two minutes, with an assist from Ingrid Corrigan, to lift the Sacred Heart Prep girls soccer team past Salinas, 1-0, in a Firebird Classic contest Saturday in Sunnyvale.

The Gators (2-0-1) host Woodside at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in a nonleague match.

Boys Soccer
Sacred Heart Prep topped Carmel, 6-1, in a nonleague game Saturday as Max Sloat scored twice. Liam Johnson added a goal and a pair of assists.

Alexi Stravropoulos, Alex Moretti and Kevin Box also scored for the Gators (2-0), who host Mountain View at 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Boys Basketball
Yianni Gardner scored 15 points, one of three Gators in double figures, and Sacred Heart Prep defeated Mills, 50-33, at the Crusader Classic on Saturday.

Brendan Carney added 13 points and Jai Deshpande had 11 for the Gators (1-2), who host Menlo-Atherton at 7 p.m.
