Vidigami FAQs

List of 16 frequently asked questions.

  • IS THIS ME? Feature

Is This Me is an AI optimized system that will make suggestions once it reaches 70% assurance of the identity of the user. These suggestions will show up for Parents (and Students) to accept or reject. The more photos that are accepted / manually tagged, the more frequent the suggestions. All photos that are accepted go into the user's portfolio.
  • What is Vidigami?

Vidigami is private photo-sharing platform that allows the Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton community (students, parents, faculty, staff) to collect, organize, share and download our many photos of SHS life in one centralized place.

You can use Vidigami to download full-resolution photos for free, and search for photos.

If you see a photo that you feel is inappropriate, you can “flag” the photo for our review by selecting the photo and clicking the three dots in the upper right hand corner to open the options available. There is a Report flag you may select.
  • I lost or can't find the invitation email. What can I do?

Go to vidigami.com and select Login.
Use the Forgot password link on Vidigami login page.

If you have activated your account but cannot log in, the system will send you a password reset link.

If you have not activated your account, the system will resend you your email invitation, which will contain your account activation link.

If the system cannot find you, please email shs-photos@shschools.org for a new invitation.

If you are still having issues, please email shs-photos@shschools.org.
  • How is Vidigami organized?

After logging into Vidigami, you will see two main areas for content: the Sacred Heart Schools Atherton (SHS) space and your personal section indicated by a circle with your first name's initial. If you are a Parent you will also see each of your children's personal space.

The SHS space allows you to see Feeds of the Pages you Follow. Initially you will Follow all pages within the SHS space. Only SHS may have Pages.

In your personal space, as a Parent, you may create a Collection, which you may Title and add photos into. Once you create a Collection with images, you may Share (as a Parent or Fac/Staff) your Collection with other users in Vidigami.

If given access by emailing shs-photos@shschools.org, you may Share your collection to a Page on the Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton space.
  • How do I add photos from a game or activity?

1 - Navigate to the most appropriate Category and then Page for your photos.
    2 - Create an Album.
3 - Title the Album very specifically, by [your groupname],  [your eventname], [your eventdate].  For example: SHP Football Varsity vs. Riordan 08/20/2024 or GR 4 Class Picnic 08/16/2024
4 - Upload Photos to the Album
  • New photos are uploaded of me/my child, but Vidigami did not auto-tag them. Why not?

Vidigami’s auto-tagging does take some time to process after we upload photos, and is not a perfect system. It will not recognize all faces in all photos—particularly faces that are turned or obstructed in any fashion—and will not tag faces it does not recognize with 90% confidence. But, the more photos we manually tag, the better the auto-tagging system works. So please feel free to tag yourself or your child in any photo!
  • I accidentally uploaded duplicate photos. What do I do?

You can “flag” the photo for our review by clicking the dots in the upper right hand corner of the photo to open the Options available to you. Select the “Report” option and mark the reason as Duplicate Media. The Vidigami organizers (shs-photos@shschools.org) will review the photo and remove the duplicate media. If you have further questions or concerns about a photo, please email shs-photos@shschools.org
  • How do I download a photo?

Click on the photo you'd like to download. In the expanded view, click "Download" in the upper right.

Students are not allowed to download photos without first getting permission from shs-photos@shschools.org.
  • Can I view all photos of the school that are uploaded to Vidigami?

Yes. You can access all photos in all Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton's Pages.
You cannot view other user's Collections or Photos unless they have shared them onto a Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton Page or shared them to the entire school.
  • What platforms can I use the Vidigami app on?

The Vidigami app is a Progressive Web App and is accessible on any device with a browser, i.e., use Safari on your iPhone to use the Vidigami App.
  • How do I tag or untag a face?

To tag an untagged person in any photo, click the “tag face” icon in the upper right hand corner of a photo, then click on the person’s face and enter the correct name in the box that appears.
If you see a person who is incorrectly identified by a tag, you can remove the tag by hovering over the person and then clicking the X in the green name tag box.
  • When are photos uploaded from an event?

There are many photographers - parents, fac/staff, committees. The Institutional Communications department tries to upload images within a week after an important event, i.e. Auction. Sports teams and classes (for grades PSK through 8) usually have parent volunteers who upload photos as available.
  • I think a photo is inappropriate or the photo is unbecoming of my student. What should I do?

If you see a photo that you feel is inappropriate, you can “flag” the photo for our review by clicking the dots in the upper right hand corner of the photo and then clicking “report”. The Vidigami organizers (shs-photos@shschools.org) will review the photo and remove if it is deemed inappropriate. If you have further questions or concerns about a photo, please email shs-photos@shschools.org
  • Will I still be able to access my photos after I graduate?

Yes. Parents and students will still be able to access a student's photos after he or she graduates, but will not be able to access new Vidigami photos that are uploaded to School years outside of the time the student attended Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton.
For example, after graduation, a member of the Class of 2022 will be able to see all 2021-22 school year photos, but will not be able to access 2022-23 school year photos when those begin to be uploaded.
  • Can extended family members, such as grandparents have access to Vidigami?

At this time, Vidigami only permits its schools to give photo access to students, parents/guardians, faculty, and staff. We thus cannot provide Vidigami access to extended family members.
