Quartet San Francisco Enjoys Residency at LMS
The GRAMMY-nominated group spent two weeks working with SHS students
Seven-time GRAMMY-nominated Quartet San Francisco enjoyed a two-week residency at the Lower & Middle Schools, working with students in fifth through seventh grades. The string quartet plays crossover music and focuses on writing, arranging and performing multi-generational popular music.
During the residency, the group held workshops for LMS students and culminated their time at Sacred Heart with a performance at an assembly. Strings students also accompanied the quartet to play “Under the Sea” and “Oh Darling” in front of their peers.
The musicians also spent time holding lectures and demonstrations for the Prep symphony students and the kindergarteners over their time on campus.
