Sweeten your spring with swirls of friends, a confection-filled evening and a pop-rock’n live band at the Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton 40th Annual Auction Dinner, GATOR LAND, How sweet it is!
This year, we are planning a sweet celebration of community—a festive evening bringing together people who share a love for food, music and being a Sacred Heart Gator. From Lollipop Woods to Gumdrop Mountains, the icing-on-the-cake for this auction event will be a creative array of items and experiences in our silent, super-silent and live auctions.
We are looking to get a team together and call on all our past players to help sprinkle this auction with wins! So, now’s your chance to refuel your candied competitive edge, and commit to being a team member. Here are the party game rules ...
ATTEND: Join the game! Gather your group, purchase your tickets, and get ready to celebrate How sweet it is to be a Gator on Saturday, March 30 at 6:00 p.m.— sharp! Invitations will be mailed in February.
VOLUNTEER:We need players! Have a few extra hours to stuff envelopes, decorate tables or pass out the paddles at check-in? No matter the job, it is sure to mean new friends, new adventures and loads of fun.
DONATE:Everyone wins! Help us with an amazing lineup of auction items that offer something for everyone—from activities to experiences and everything in-between. Want to team up with others to compose a "pay-to-play" activity or one-of-a-kind event? Willing to share your VIP concert and sporting event tickets, wine from your cellar or a stay at your vacation home? Please let us know by February 8 for inclusion in our auction catalog.
UNDERWRITE: Sweetness counts! Each year, we are able to defray auction expenses thanks to generous gifts of financial support. We appreciate any and all monetary contributions toward the success of our event. We will gratefully acknowledge all supporters in our auction catalog.

    Pay-to-Play Events for Students and Parents
    Pay-to-Play events are great for community building and we seek to have events represented in all grades, as well as multi-grade, parent-student and parent-only events. These items are generally hosted by two or more, and can include ideas such as, but not limited to, the following. 
    •    Themed dinners/parties – Cinco de Mayo, Luau, Mardi Gras, Valentines etc.
    •    End of school or end of summer pool parties for students
    •    Cooking class
    •    Group workouts – hiking excursions, yoga and lunch, pilates and bites
    •    Moms or dads night out
    •    Mother/student or Dad/student experiences – poker, cooking, art etc.
    •    Grade-level parties at outside venues – Sportshouse, Laser, Paintball etc.

    A school tradition since 1980 – The annual auction dinner party is our only all school, preschool through 12th grade, fund raising event.

  • Why is the SHS Annual Auction Dinner Party important?

    100% of the net proceeds from the auction support the education we are so proud to offer our students. The auction is a great community-building event. There are many volunteer opportunities and parents have fun working together to achieve a common goal.
  • How can I get involved?

    The auction committee needs and appreciates all kinds of help from the SHS community. No matter how much or how little help you can give, all is appreciated! Here are some of the ways you help:

    • Volunteer! Contact one of the auction chair’s or the Director of Engagement to find out how you can help.
    • Donate an item or service to be auctioned.
    • Ask friends, family members, or businesses to make donations.
    • Underwrite by making a cash contribution to help with expenses.
    • Become an auction patron.
    • Come to the auction and have a great time! 
  • How can I donate an item?

    It's simple. Just complete a donation submission form (with a description and dollar value of your good or service) Next, bring in your item or arrange with the auction committee to have it picked up or delivered closer to the auction. Be sure to provide brochures or pictures for the display of your item if available!

    Our catalog print deadline is Friday, February 8!
  • What and when is the online auction?

    All SHS families have access to our online auction website to sign up for "Pay to Play" parties and to view our entire auction catalog.

    The online auction will be open Sunday, March 17 - Sunday, March 24.

    Only "pay to play" sign up items will be available online.
  • How do I RSVP to attend the Auction?

    Invitations to the Auction will be mailed to all current parents in mid February with an RSVP link on this page. Your reservation includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and entertainment. 

  • Who can I sit with?

    Guests are welcome to organize a table (up to parties of 12) and request each other when submitting your RSVP. But - that's not the only way!  We have a dedicated group of volunteers who will make sure you are at a great table with other parents in your child's grade.
  • What should I wear?

    Sweet & Sassy or Gator Gear Classy. We encourage you to wear what you’re comfortable in!  Chek out our "lookbook" for inspiration!

  • Is our donation tax-deductible?

    Yes, as the law allows. You will receive a note acknowledging your donation. Please refer to your tax advisor for details.
