Auction Benefit

SHS made the difficult-yet-courageous decision to proactively close campus both to help safeguard our own school family’s health, and to act for the overall common good of our immediate and local communities. While this move has necessarily impacted this year’s annual auction and how it was originally conceived, this decision fits right in line with our theme for this year: Superhero Soiree – Heroes don’t always wear capes.

A long-standing SHS community tradition, the annual auction is both celebratory and a critical fundraising event that secures financial support for the exceptional programming, tuition assistance, and other vital resources that benefit our students. Many of you have already reached out with words of understanding about the current situation, and expressed encouragement and support of the auction and its cause, and for that we are truly grateful. You are all heroes in our book.

However, we want to assure you that all is not lost. In tandem with the school adopting a virtual campus, our auction, too, is moving online.

So, while we won’t get to see your hero tights and capes in person, we are still warming up the hotline and Calling all Heroes to join us in cyberspace and ensure we meet our fundraising goals.

Now more than ever, WE NEED YOUR HELP to SAVE THE DAY!!

On Sunday, March 15, our Superhero Soiree Count Me In items go live. From Sunday, March 22 - 29, we will SMASH open the full auction catalog for bidding - this will include all of our Live, Super Silent, and Silent items. Rest assured, throughout this period, we plan to ZAP you with motivating eBLASTS and incentives to keep you virtually ASSEMBLED and IN THE WINNING ZONE.

On behalf of all our many, many volunteers, we are deeply grateful for your ongoing patience and encouragement as we work to design this new online event. It is truly our hope that with creativity, positivity - and maybe even a little humor - we will ultimately rally our entire community in solidarity and in purpose, and WIN THE DAY for the people and programs of Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton who are DEPENDING ON US for this crucial financial support.

Thank you again for truly being our heroes now and always,
