Auction Benefit
Please join us for our 43rd Annual Auction Saturday, March 25, 2023 6:00-11:30pm Michael J. Homer Science & Student Life Center SHS Practice Pavilion
For more than 40 years, we have gathered together to celebrate our community at the annual All-School Auction. This event is so much more than just a fundraiser; it is an event that encourages community spirit, connection, and pride.
SHS is dedicated to building community. Financial assistance is available to attend this event. Please contact OMCS at 650.454.8312 by March 14, 2023 for support.
A long-standing SHS community tradition, the annual auction is our largest community celebration and a critical fundraising event that secures financial support for exceptional faculty and programming, tuition assistance, and other vital resources that benefit all our students.
100% of the net proceeds from the auction support the education we are so proud to offer our students. The auction is a great community-building event. There are many volunteer opportunities and parents have fun working together to achieve a common goal.
The auction committee needs and appreciates all kinds of help from the SHS community. No matter how much or how little help you can give, all is appreciated! Here are some of the ways you help:
Auction Volunteer Sign Uphas a list of volunteer opportunities both before the auction or on the night of the event.
Donate an item or service to be auctioned. Need ideas for items? See Auction Donation Ideas, which includes our wish list and fun ideas for “Count Me In” items
Ask friends, family members, or businesses (especially ones that you frequent) to make donations.
Underwrite by making a cash contribution to help with expenses.
It's simple. Please fill out the Auction Items Donation Form. Next, bring in your item or arrange with the auction committee to have it picked up or delivered closer to the auction. Be sure to provide brochures or pictures for the display of your item if available!
Our item donation deadline is Friday, February 10!

Our complete lineup of Silent, Super Silent and Live items will be available for bidding in-person on March 25, 2023! (*Count Me In items that don’t sell out during the online auction, will also be available the night of the auction.)
Invitations to the Auction will be mailed to all current parents in mid February with an RSVP link on this page. Your reservation includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and entertainment.
Guests are welcome to organize a table (up to parties of 12) and request each other when submitting your RSVP, but that's not the only way! We have a dedicated group of volunteers who will make sure you are at a great table with other parents in your child's grade.
We are asking all guests in attendance to be vaccinated. Please do not attend if you are COVID positive, experience symptoms and/or have been in close contact with someone else who has tested positive.
