Menlo, SHP on collision course in WBAL boys soccer

Liam Johnson scored once and had three assists in SHP's 6-0 win over Priory on Wednesday. The Gators will face crosstown rival Menlo on Friday at SHP.
Liam Johnson converted a penalty kick and added three assists as the Sacred Heart Prep boys soccer team team opened West Bay Athletic League with a 6-0 victory over visiting Priory on Wednesday.
Chase Dolinko added a pair of goals for the Gators (7-0-1, 1-0), who face an early season challenge when Menlo School makes the trip up Valparaiso for a 3:30 p.m. match Friday.
Menlo topped visiting The King's Academy, 4-0, Wednesday in its league opener. Jonny Ebrahimian scored twice for the Knights (8-1-1, 1-0). Aaron Morgan and Jackson Aldrich also scored.
Sacred Heart Prep opened a 3-0 lead in the first half, as Johnson was involved with all three goals. He opening the scoring with a penalty kick and then assisted goals by Alexi Stravropoulos and Dolinko.
Brian Tinsley scored in the opening minutes of the second half with an assist from Stravropoulos. Aidan Bassett, with a little help from Johnson, and Dolinko, with an assist by Tommy Horgan, finished the scoring.
