MS Student Council Levels Up Leadership

A model of creativity, collaboration, and cooperation, Sacred Heart’s 11-member student council has been hard at work designing and executing a robust agenda for the year, laser-focused on their intention to engage, energize, and educate the population they serve. Among the group’s many successes thus far: preparing daily announcements and numerous educational assembly programs for grades 1-8, a music festival themed dance, and an exciting lineup of activities for Halloween. What sets this year’s student council apart? “Everyone’s willingness to take initiative,” said eighth grader Julia Birdwell, 2018-2019 student council president. “As opposed to being asked to complete assignments and prepare for events, the officers step up and come forward with new ideas, and plans to execute them.”
