UW’s Ben Burr-Kirven (SHP '15) named Lott Trophy national player of the week

For the 2nd time this season, University of Washington linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven (SHP '15) has been named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week.
For the second time this season, Washington linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven has been named the Lott Trophy national defensive player of the week.
The senior from Menlo Park, Calif., had 15 tackles and a key fourth-quarter interception in No. 15 Washington’s 27-13 victory over Colorado at Husky Stadium last Saturday.
He was also recognized by Lott Trophy after his 20-tackle performance against Arizona State in September.
A front-runner for the Pac-12 defensive player of the year award, Burr-Kirven leads the nation with 108 tackles.
