SHP's Andrew Churukian Named to the Men's Competition Roster for the UANA Youth Pan American Championships

Churukian is joined by Santa Cruz's Gabriel Discipulo and Bellarmine Prep's Anthony Rethans on the U.S. that opens against Chile.
The Americans will also play Columbia, Trinidad and Tobago and Argentina before placement games begin July 6.
Menlo School's Selina Xu was one of 20 players named to the U.S. Youth National Women's Volleyball Training Team. The training camp will be held in Colorado Springs for two weeks beginning July 27.
Out of the camp, 12 players will be named to compete at the FIVB Girls' U18 World Championship in Argentina.
"The Youth National Team is extremely important to the development of top players in this country," USA coach Jim Stone said. "It provides team members the opportunity to play with and against the best players in the world. We train for two weeks, most other teams are together for months. Can we find a way to compete and win? This is a great competitive challenge for the USA players."
