Entering play with three league games to go, Cap trailed first-place Carlmont by two games, with the teams winding down the regular season with a head-to-head two-game series this week. But Tonas helped Carlmont clinch the PAL Bay Division title outright as SHP’s junior left-hander shut down a potent Cap offense by firing a one-hit shutout.
