SHP Spirit Week Celebrates 40th Anniversary

An annual tradition celebrating competitive camaraderie, Sacred Heart Prep hosted its 40th annual Spirit Week from Feb. 13-17. Amid the myriad of themed costumes in reds (seniors), blues (juniors), yellows (sophomores) and greens (freshmen), the high schoolers enjoyed participating in daily activities, including lip syncs, relay races in the pool and a Quiz Bowl. The class themes were: seniors – Revenge of the Sith; juniors – NASA; sophomores – Gold Mine; and freshmen – Welcome to the Jungle. The week culminated with the seniors being crowned 2017 champion.
