Each week a lesson plan is developed and shared with the Parents of the students in the class.
Step into a day in K
Start the day with a Live Zoom morning meeting followed with flextime and realtime work.
Teacher created video instruction for Reading, Writing, Foundations, and Sciences. Lessons are accompanied by instructions for an activity that may be independent or require some parental support. Detailed instructions along with the parental role are explained. These activities may include links to supportive websites, interactive videos as well as digital downloads. These lessons are time appropriate for their age level.
Some current activities range from character study/description, persuasive letter writing, and the study of light and shadows in science.
Optional activities are supplied for those interested- these activities support the lessons of the week. Example: Shadow drawing activity combing art and science.
The day ends with an afternoon meeting with their teachers and friends.
