Donnelly, Frimel, and Moimoi named to All-Bay Area Team

Seniors JP Frimel and Ronan Donnelly were named to the Mercury News' All-Bay Area Offensive 3rd team, while Tevita Moimoi was named to the Defensive 2nd team. 

Ronan Donnelly: Repeated as the Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division special teams player of the year. Booted his longest field goal of the season — a 42-yarder — in the CCS Division II playoffs. Only missed one extra point in 43 tries, averaged 42.3 yards per punt and accounted for 25 touchbacks on 60 kickoffs. Also made 32 tackles and intercepted two passes.

JP Frimel: First-team selection in Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division. The reliable target in traffic finished with 22 catches for 252 yards and five TDs. Also excelled at linebacker with a team-high 101 tackles, including nine for a loss and one sack.

Tevita Moimoi: Co-Most Valuable Player in the Peninsula Athletic League’s Bay Division. Also selected to the first team at running back. Rushed for 1,013 yards and 17 touchdowns. Caught 11 passes for 148 yards. Was second on the team with 91 tackles, playing linebacker. Had two sacks. Has offers from Air Force, Harvard and Columbia. Listed as an athlete by 247sports.com, but likely college position is linebacker.
