"Beautiful Past, Bold Future" Campaign Successfully Concludes

Support fuels SHS endowment and timely capital projects

On Monday, May 6, Director of Schools Richard A. Dioli announced that thanks to the overwhelming generosity and endorsement of the Sacred Heart community, the
Beautiful Past, Bold Future - The Campaign for Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton has successfully concluded—the most significant fundraising campaign in school history, and one that ensures its future for decades to come.

As a result of this multi-year effort, timely campaign initiatives related to capital projects were met, completing the school's Campus Master Plan with construction of the high school's new William V. Campbell Academic and Arts Center (scheduled to open August 2019) and revitalization of McGanney Sports Center. Fulfilling the second campaign initiative, the Sacred Heart Endowment has significantly increased, helping ensure access and assistance for students to receive a Sacred Heart education, and enabling the school to continue attracting and retaining the highest caliber of professional faculty and staff.

"I am profoundly grateful to each and every family that supported these campaign initiatives," said Director of Schools Dioli. "This remarkable achievement is the result of a broad and generous response from our entire community, and critically advances our commitment to provide a robust, rigorous, and relevant education to every Sacred Heart student, preschool through grade 12.

"As a school and as a community, we have come a long way together. I’m extremely proud of where Sacred Heart stands today and where it is positioned to go in the years to come. This is an extraordinary moment in our history, and importantly moves forward—safeguarding our beautiful past, as we head into a bold future."
