The Boys & Girls Track and Field teams had strong showings yesterday in the WBAL 1B meet, highlighted by the Girls 4x100 relay team, who recorded the 5th fastest time in program history!

Girls track and field

Menlo School's Michelle Louie won two individual events (100 in 12.87 and 200 in 26.77) and ran the first leg of the 4x400 relay that recorded a time of 4:08.19 at the West Bay Athletic League 1B meet Wednesday at Sacred Heart Prep.

Charlotte Tomkinson, who raced in the 800 over the weekend at The Armory in New York, won the 400 in 58.38, followed by Kyra Pretre in 1:02.00. They also ran in the 4x400 relay along with Lauren Hamilton, who finished second to Louie in both the 100 and 200.

Castilleja's Moorea Mitchell was a double winner in the shot put (35-8 1/2) and discus (113-0).

Menlo's Ayinde Olukotun won the 200 meters in 23.74. Cacchione was third in 24.69 and Cluss placed fourth in 24.91.
