SHP grad Corbin Koch (2015) has been named to the All-SCIAC 2nd team.

At SHP, Corbin was a three-year starter on the basketball team, and helped the Gators to West Bay Athletic League Championships as a junior and senior, earning league MVP honors both seasons (first player in league history to be a two-time MVP). He also led the Gators to a CCS Division IV title as a junior.

Senior Daniel Rosenbaum headlines the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) postseason awards with SCIAC Player of the Year honors. Fellow teammate junior Micah Elan also was named to First Team All-SCIAC while senior Corbin Koch took Second Team All-SCIAC honors and Head Coach Charles Katsiaficas earned SCIAC Coach of the Year.

Rosenbaum earned Player of the Year honors after he averaged 18.9 points per game in SCIAC play during the regular season. Making his second straight appearance on the All-SCIAC first team, Rosenbaum shot 55.6% from the floor, 41.7% from three-point range, and 86.7% from the free throw line in 16 conference contests. He also pulled down 96 rebounds, dished out 31 assists, and logged 20 steals against league competition, helping the Sagehens secure a 15-1 record in league play and the top seed in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament. Rosenbaum currently sits in second All-Time in scoring at 1,673 points.

Elan earned his second-straight First Team All-SCIAC selection as he averaged 15.6 points per game and is third in the SCIAC with 4.4 assists per game. Elan reached 1,000 career points this season and also notched a career-high 38 points in the Sagehens win over No. 4 Whitman, which is just three points off of the single game record.

Koch earned Second Team All-SCIAC this season, his second trip to the SCIAC All-Conference teams after earning First Team All-SCIAC during his sophomore campaign. Koch averaged 12.2 points per game, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He also reached 1,000 career points this season making him the 21st member of the 1,000 points club.

The Sagehens have had a historic year to this point led by SCIAC Coach of the Year, Charles Katsiaficas. Kats led the Sagehens to their best regular season in program history with a program best at 23 wins, 15 conference wins, 18-game win streak and reached the highest ranking in program history at No. 9. The Sagehens earned the SCIAC Regular Season Championship for the first time since 2008 and have a chance to win the SCIAC Postseason Tournament with home court throughout the tournament.

The Sagehens will host the No. 4 seed Redlands on Thursday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Voelkel Gymnasium.
