After School Programs

In addition to formal after-school sports and arts programs, a variety of enrichment classes are offered each semester for students in grades K-8. These courses are intended to provide students with an opportunity to experience and explore interests in a fun and less structured environment, and are not graded or counted for academic credit. Supervised extended care is also available, both before and after school, with age-appropriate activities and healthy snacks provided.

From dance to music, sports to cooking, chess to carpentry, SHS enrichment programs offer P-8 students numerous opportunities to identify, explore, and hone new talents and interests in a supervised setting. Each course meets 1-2 times per week, running approximately 30-60 minutes per session.
