  • SHS Family Mass Series

    Celebrate our shared Catholic faith on Sacred Heart grounds, as we come together in community for liturgy of the Word and SHS fellowship.
    2017/2018 Masses are held in the Ravi Family Assembly Hall located in the Johnson Performing Art Building on the Lower & Middle Schools Campus (Park Lane entrance) unless noted otherwise below:
    Sunday, November 10, 10 a.m.
    Saturday, December 16, 4:30 p.m. Christmas liturgy
    Sunday, May 13, 10 a.m. Harman Family Assembly Hall located in the Michael J. Homer Science and Student Life Center on the Sacred Heart Prep campus
  • Christmas Family Mass

    A longstanding tradition at Sacred Heart, and newly re-instituted in 2015, the Christmas Family Mass is held on the Saturday preceding the holiday, with alumni volunteers actively taking part in the liturgy as lectors, eucharistic ministers, musicians, and other roles. Coordinated by the Parents' Association Sprituality Committee, the service is followed by holiday-themed hospitality.
  • Alumni Day Mass

    Held in conjunction with the Alumni Oktoberfest and milestone class reunions, the always-popular Alumni Mass is held each October in the Main Building Chapel. All alumni are welcome to attend and take part in the liturgy.
  • Come to the Quiet

    A weekly morning session of quiet prayer and reflection, led by Kathleen Dolan, RSCJ. Held Wednesdays during the regular school year, 8:00 - 8:15a.m. in Lane Family Chapel, Murphy Administration Building, SHS Lower & Middle Schools campus.

  • Theology on Tap

    Theology on Tap
    Presented by Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton Office of Mission Initiatives and Institutional Planning, Theology on Tap offers an opportunity to meet Religious Studies Faculty.  We will explore contemporary issues through a Catholic theological lens, and meet other community members interested in exploring theology and spirituality. Adults only please. Light refreshments will be provided.
    Thursday, October 26, 6:30pm-8pm Heritage Room, Main Building - Amy Jobin, MTS P-8 Spiritual Life Coordinator will discuss "Inter-Religious Dialogue in a Catholic School Setting."
    Thursday, November 16, 6:30pm-8pm Heritage Room, Main Building - Jessica Mueller, MDiv SHP Religious Studies Instructor will discuss "Liberation and Solidarity"
    Thursday, January 25, 2018 6:30pm-8pm Heritage Room, Main Building - Matthew Carroll, MDiv SHP Religious Studies Instructor & Immersion Coordinator will discuss "Theology of Encounter/Immersion Theology & Praxis"
    Thursday, March 22, 2018 6:30pm-8pm Heritage Room, Main Building - Christine McBride, PhD SHP English Instructor will discuss "Paradise Lost" exploring the spirituality embedded in Milton's classic 17th century epic poem.
  • Annual Alumni Day of Service

    Each November, all alumni of Sacred Heart are encouraged to take part in our annual day of service, contributing volunteer hours to their local communities and preferred charities. 

    On this day, members of the Alumni Board of Directors traditionally convene in a service activity on behalf of the school, and as representatives of the larger alumni body.
