Sacred Heart Schools will offer the Online ISEE for candidates to grade 6 on December 15, 2018 and January 12, 2019. Students are welcome to test at any site but must ensure their results are sent directly to Sacred Heart by including our ERB number (054090) with their registration. Please note that Sacred Heart only administers the online test.
If your child has a diagnosed learning difference and wishes to use their recommended testing accommodations on the ISEE, you will need to register at an alternate site. Please contact ERB well in advance to arrange for testing accommodations.
Sacred Heart Schools recommends applicants complete ISEE registration early to ensure their preferred testing date and test no later than January 26, 2019.
We are committed to making our application process accessible to all interested candidates, regardless of financial circumstances. As such, ISEE fee waivers are available for qualified applicants. Please contact the Admissions Office at (650) 473-4006 to request an ISEE fee wavier.
High School Placement Test (HSPT) All 9th grade applicants must register for the HSPT administered by the Scholastic Testing Service. Sacred Heart will offer the HSPT on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Online registration for our location is required, open to applicants only, and will be available through Ravenna Solutions. Test results will be mailed to all applicants who tested with us mid-February.
If you take the HSPT at another location, please indicate that you would like your results shared with Sacred Heart Prep as quickly as possible. Applications will not be reviewed without the results of the HSPT.
Writing Sample If the applicant takes the HSPT at SHP or one of the San Francisco Archdiocese schools, the writing sample will be included. If the applicant takes the test at any other location, the writing sample will not be included and the admissions office will contact the applicant to schedule a time to complete a writing sample at Sacred Heart in February.
Extended Time Request
If the applicant would like to request extended time on the HSPT, please complete the Center for Student Success Application through Ravenna and mail or email all supporting documentation to the Admission Office no later than December 14, 2018.
Stories From the Heart will provide community members an opportunity to hear personal stories that speak to the issues that influence our experience in the world. Our topic for the spring is learning differences.
We will hear the stories of parents who have helped their children understand, own, and manage their unique learning styles. Adults only, please.
"Listening Like Mary and Walking on Water: Living Our Lives Through Faith." Dr. Diaz-Edelman has framed her time with these questions: Am I being my authentic, genuine self in all that I do, living fearlessly and faithfully, intentionally and inSpired? Am I living my life in prayer, continuously connected to The Vine? Am I seeing Truth with my ears and hearing Truth with my heart, boldly meeting needs where they are, and lovingly co-creating heaven on earth through the power of my faith?
Sacred Heart Schools is committed to making our program accessible and affordable for all academically qualified students regardless of financial circumstance. We offer assistance to qualified students in the form of financial aid, based upon demonstrated financial need.
