Step into Lower School Science with Science Specialist, Ms. Bacon's 1st grade
A simple dixie cup provided a grassroots opportunity for the students in first grade to discover how plants grow from seeds to a lawn. First graders drew diagrams of their lawns in their investigation journals, investigated what happens when a lawn is mowed, and identified the parts of a plant.
