Seniors with the necessary qualifications may opt to do one semester of Honors independent study. In addition to a final paper or project, the student will be required to do a presentation at the end of the semester. The student’s final grade will be determined by the on-campus mentor and follow a standard rubric. Depending on the main subject area for the independent study (i.e., Religious Studies, Fine Arts, Social Sciences, etc.), this experience will take the place of a semester-long course in that subject area, so long as the minimum A - G UC requirements have been met in that subject area.
