Join Sr. Dee Copeland in experiencing the practice of Christian meditation in a small group, learn about its origins, and discover its relevance as a form of prayer for the contemporary world. People from all faith traditions are welcome.
The Liturgy of the Hours is a pattern prayer that has been prayed at different times of the day in order to praise God and to make the entire day holy. Morning Prayer (lauds) and Evening Prayer are the two pillars of this prayer practice. We shall be offering Morning Prayer that follows this pattern: a hymn, a psalm, and a canticle (a poem from the Hebrew Bible), another psalm with a response, a reading from Scripture, a short period of silence, another response, recitation of the Canticle of Zechariah, intercessions, The Lord’s prayer and concluding prayer and blessing.

The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for applicants to grades 6-8. Registration is available through the Educational Records Bureau (ERB).
Sacred Heart Schools will offer the Online ISEE for candidates to grade 6 on December 14, 2019 and January 11, 2020. Students are welcome to test at any site but must ensure their results are sent directly to Sacred Heart by including our ERB number (054090) with their registration. Please note that Sacred Heart only administers the online test.
If your child has a diagnosed learning difference and wishes to use their recommended testing accommodations on the ISEE, you will need to register at an alternate site. Please contact ERB well in advance to arrange for testing accommodations.
Sacred Heart Schools recommends applicants complete ISEE registration early to ensure their preferred testing date and test no later than January 25, 2020.
We are committed to making our application process accessible to all interested candidates, regardless of financial circumstances. As such, ISEE fee waivers are available for qualified applicants. Please contact the Admissions Office at (650) 473-4006 to request an ISEE fee wavier.
