The fully modern, age-appropriate facilities will optimize learning, personal growth, and a sense of community among students in grades 1 through 8. All new buildings will incorporate renewable and recycled building materials and sustainable design features — including improved natural day lighting, sunshades, and better ventilation.
New classroom spaces across the Lower and Middle Schools campus will allow for innovative new programs, specialized instruction, small group interaction, and differentiated learning on both ends of the spectrum. New science laboratories will provide opportunities for important hands-on learning in a safe, modern setting.
New Library
At the center of campus is a new library with a soaring ceiling and expansive windows creating an inviting space for individual research or class gatherings. The new library is almost three times larger than our existing library. It has separate tutoring and conference rooms for independent and group study. The library is environmentally designed for "net zero" electrical and water.
New Administrative Building
The administration building features a gracious reception area for welcoming current and prospective families. There is a wing housing offices for admissions, attendance, principal, counseling, campus ministries, service learning, as well as a new health room. The building also includes a chapel providing flexible space for services and individual prayer. The chapel has movable seating for 80 people and a retractable glass wall to accommodate large outdoor masses.
New Performing Arts Building
Ever cognizant of developing the whole child, the Performing Arts Building has a creative design feature to allow for rooms to be configured for a wide array of activities and events, maximizing flexibility and usability to meet the demands of enhanced curriculum and programs. The new Performing Arts Building offers sound proof band, music, choir, dance and drama rooms. In addition, there is assembly space for 600 people, an area large enough to accommodate all of Lower and Middle Schools' students, faculty and staff. These facilities reinforce the schools' commitment to developing the whole well being of a child as they discover and grow in all of their talents.
