A Compelling Vision for the Future
Our vision included modern classrooms and learning spaces that deliver a 21st century education. We built gathering places that create a strong sense of community and state-of-the-art technology that facilitate, accelerate, and deepen learning. We have an endowment that attracts and retains a diverse student body and a deeply dedicated, well-trained faculty and staff. We foresee a school that supports an evolving and aware community, living the mission of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat and building on the innovative spirit of Silicon Valley.
To thrive and contribute as adults in the 21st century, our children will need faith, intellect, a sense of justice, the skills to build community, and the ability to grow. Cultivating these strengths and preparing children for the world they will inherit, in all its complexity, is the mission we live at Sacred Heart Schools.
Our Mission
Madeleine Sophie Barat was a woman with a mission. Two hundred years ago, with the founding of the Society of the Sacred Heart, she pioneered a forward-looking, balanced approach to learning, offering academic rigor in a nurturing environment. The mission of St. Madeleine Sophie is the mission we live every day at Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton.
