Extracurricular Productions and after school classes

Our after school program offers more performance opportunities for students who want to do more performing beyond the classroom experiences. These productions are published plays or musicals and rehearse after school and some evenings. We focus on performance skills, community building and personal sense of accomplishment and confidence.

After School Classes
We often offer after school classes, usually one day a week for about 9-10 weeks where students can get a performance experience without the bigger time commitment that a full production demands. These classes are offered through the after school class program. Some examples of these classes have included: Shakespeare play, Clown Class, and "James and the Giant Peach." We also offer a club called Drama Society for 4th-8th graders where students can work on the current shows, help with theater maintenance, and learn technical theater skills including learning to use the light and sound equipment.
