Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton (SHS) is rich in all the ways that count: in the extraordinary talent of its faculty and students, in the strength and vitality of its community, in the enduring loyalty of its grateful alumni and generous friends and donors.

SHS is fortunate, too, in the strength of its financial endowment, which sustains the Schools.  Healthy as this endowment is, however, it must be perpetually grown and nurtured to ensure that SHS’s potential for educating the whole child is never limited by lack of resources.

Why are gifts to the endowment so critical?  They provide financial security of permanent funding that:

• Makes the difference between a faculty that is merely good and one that is excellent and leads the way
• Separates ordinary curriculum and educational programs from those that redefine how students learn and faculty teach
• Helps ensure that SHS may offer programs that educate the whole child
