Sacred Heart Schools is an independent, Roman Catholic school that is not subsidized by the Catholic Church or the Province of the Society of the Sacred Heart. From the initial grant of land in the late 19th century from the Atherton family to the many gifts it receives today, SHS has relied on the generosity of donors who have given their time, treasure and talent to support our mission.
We invite you to join the many alumni, current and former parents and the many friends who have helped us in our mission to educate children to be leaders who love God and serve others.
Almost all independent schools rely upon charitable gifts beyond tuition income, including Sacred Heart Schools, to support school programs. The special attributes that set SHS apart--small classes, exceptional faculty, a diverse student body, well-maintained facilities, special offerings beyond core classes--are expensive. Rather than raising tuition even further to support them, we solicit tax-deductible donations through various initiatives which help the school and allow families to give based on their ability.
