RADbot was RAD at the Silicon Valley Regional Meet!

After a great season and an exciting competition Team 2144 ended up in 22nd place out of 50 teams at the Silicon Valley Regional Competition.

We were 5-5 but at least two matches were decided by two points.  It could have gone either way.

Special thanks to Marisa and Gavin Beck, Georgeann Hardy, and Armando Del Rio for attending the event at San Jose State. If anyone else came and I missed you THANKS!  All your emails were great support as well.

The RADbot was especially adept at balancing on the ramps.  This accomplishment was a point getter!  It was exciting to see two robots balance together in the closing seconds of a round!  RADbot was able to do that several times as well as on their own.

It was an exciting time in San Jose!  Any technical problems were quickly analyzed and solved!

The team performance was smooth and dynamic throughout the competition.

Congratulaitons FIRST Robotics Team 2144, SHSchools, RADbot!

Stayed tuned for information about participating in next year's Team.

There are a variety of ways in which students can become involved in robotics at Prep.
