Learning Specialist for Grades 1-8
The Learning Services department provides academic-related support for grades 1-8 with the goal of helping each student reach his/her fullest potential. The Director of Learning Services works with students, parents and faculty to target areas of need and develop instructional strategies for addressing different learning needs. Through monitoring student progress, developing individualized learning plans for qualifying students, and coordinating at school or outside services, the department works to give all of our students the tools to achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
The Center for Student Success
The Center for Student Success (CSS) is staffed with two full-time teachers and a Board Certified Educational Therapist. The CSS provides academic support for all students in grades 9-12. Faculty and learning resource specialists provide assistance to students with subject tutoring, study skills, time management and test-taking strategies. The Center also coordinates on-campus and College Board accommodations for students with verified learning differences. CSS is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.every day.
