At Sacred Heart, our fine arts program is a cornerstone of the student experience. From our youngest students to our eldest, exposure and access to a dynamic arts curriculum and co-curricular arts activities promote creative self-expression, inspire imagination, and encourage innovation and self-direction. Across this comprehensive program, classroom instruction and strong technical training pairs with ample opportunities to take part in large- and small-scale performance, adjudicated competition, and exhibition of work to the greater community. 

With a high degree of hands-on experimentation at every level, our fine arts courses integrate study of contemporary and classic artists, genres, and styles, and often incorporate guest lectures or field trips to learn directly from professionals. Overall, our Sacred Heart program is designed to provide students a strong fine arts foundation in the lower and middle grades, leading students to a more thoughtful choice about which areas to pursue at the advanced level in high school.
